David Dawson

David is a freelance coach, consultant, and facilitator across UK, Ireland, and the US, using coaching, facilitation and change consultancy skills to bring out the best in individuals and diverse teams. He has a Masters in Organisational Change and is accredited as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Relationships are central to his approach, creating safe spaces to explore storytelling, different thinking, appreciative inquiry, and experiential learning.

He coaches one-on-one, co-ordinates Action Learning and group coaching with teams, and designs and facilitates team building, culture, leadership, and strategy workshops for international organisations, exploring complexity, uncertainty, improvisation, and thinking differently.

David started as a Hospital Porter, followed by extensive management and leadership experience in complex change contexts. His successful track-record in large teaching hospitals led to management roles in various ancillary, hospital and clinical services, and director level roles for hospital-wide transformation programmes, research, and strategy. He has also worked with bio tech companies, finance, education (Kings College, London), and in the third sector.

David loves London, interior design, furniture, architecture, art, music and reading. He indulges his melancholia by watching Charlton Athletic.
