£195 – Including Lunch
Monday 16th November 2026
Facilitated by Glyn Fussell
A One-Day Workshop for anyone wanting to explore this tender territory for themselves or for those supporting clients experiencing bereavement, transition, and workplace loss.
Grief and loss are essential parts of what it means to be human. Whilst we may forever fear their arrival, they are our natural responses to adjusting to change. The challenge for many of us as coaches is to recognise and acknowledge that these kinds of issues have a legitimate place in our practice, especially when there is high emotion involved. How can you be of service to your clients in the presence of grief? Where does coaching end and counselling begin?
This one day programme equates to seven CPD hours.
In this one-day workshop, facilitated by Oasis Co-Director Glyn Fussell, we will explore how grief and loss can show up, how to make space for these responses and how to genuinely your clients in their experiences, whilst staying safe yourself. You will leave with:
- An understanding of grief and loss, and models to help you locate yourself and your clients
- Space to work with your own history of grief and loss and the narrative you have around these issues
- The different presentations of loss and triggers for grief and how to work with them
- How to create psychological safety for you and your clients who are experiencing loss, and when to refer on to a therapist
- Working with ritual, metaphor, and symbol to create meaning
