Thea Mortimer

Financial Administrator

As Financial Administrator Thea is responsible for looking after the finances for Organisational Work, Whole Person at Work and Programmes. She works on the budget spreadsheets and invoicing. She is also involved in working on the investment costs for the Organisational Work proposals.

Thea holds the budgets for programmes and takes all bookings for our public programmes.

A different aspect to her role is taking counselling referrals through our Peoplecare telephone line. Thea finds this aspect enjoyable as it differs hugely to her financial role and it draws on skills she developed whilst undertaking a BSc (hons) degree in Speech and Language Therapy.

Prior to joining Oasis Thea worked for Bettys & Taylors where she was involved in training new staff at Bettys Harlow Carr.

She joined Oasis in 2012 and finds working in a peer-based organisation challenging and rewarding. She is passionate about self development.
