Keith Dobson has over 20 years’ experience of working at a senior level in management. His career in social housing (40 years’ service in all) has been centred on housing management and support to customers giving him rich experience in design and delivery of services, working with customers, and leading staff and management teams.
Keith says “If there is one thing I have learned it is that whoever we are, whatever our circumstances, we all have the capacity to change and develop. Now that I have retired, I am keen to continue working with individuals to help them develop their ideas about personal and professional development.” To that end, he has completed the Oasis Programme “Coaching and Mentoring with Head, Heart and Soul”
Keith brings a lot of personal experience to the table. His approach is to build and develop trust based on honesty, clarity and a commitment to working with people on what they want and need. In addition, he works with people to help them identify what gets in the way and to develop strategies they are comfortable with that will help them to overcome these particular obstacles.
“My approach is to develop and deepen my understanding of the person I am working with, to work through what they need and to help them realise their goals to achieve the outcomes that they want and need. I realise that at times this might be tricky or challenging, but I can bring a warmth and sensitivity to the process that will help and assist the person to develop.”
