Oasis Podcasts are full of interesting conversations with leaders, coaches and mentors – people from all walks of life. We offer you their points of view to help you draw inspiration from their knowledge, wisdom, and their rich words.
In this episode, Coach Supervision with Head, Heart and Soul Glyn Fussell talks to Benita Trainer, an extraordinary practitioner, and someone who has made it their life’s work to bring a spirit of inquiry, rigour and authenticity into her work as a coach, facilitator and coach supervisor.
Benita has 33 years of supervised practice to draw on. She is an experienced executive coach, facilitator and coach supervisor. She has personally pioneered coach supervision as part of responsible practice for over 20 years and is a supervision assessor with the Association for Coaching. She’s also a body centred psychotherapist.
In her professional work, Benita works across sectors in business and with public sector and 3rd sector organisations locally and globally. At the centre of her practise is her ability to meet people where they are, helping them connect to their natural purpose from a deeper sense of themselves and their own personal and wider context.
We’ll be exploring how courageous coach supervision can go to the very core of what it means to be human, and help you move beyond tools and techniques to build a genuine, wholehearted relationship with yourself and the person you’re working alongside, and how you can keep learning.
This podcast will be great for you if you’re a coach or a coach supervisor wanting to deepen your practice or if you’re someone interested in becoming a coach.
