Tim Morgan
Company Accountant
A Chartered Accountant and Chartered Secretary, Tim has spent most of his career working for and with values-based organisations across a variety of forms.
Tim is Newcastle-based having arrived in the North East to study maths at Newcastle University in 1983.
His particular area of specialism is fair trade, having been FD of Traidcraft plc for eight years. He continues to work with a number of fair trade organisations, with his main role since 2009 being FD of fair trade lender Shared Interest Society.
Tim is a Non-Executive Director of the Ecology Building Society and chairs its Risk, Audit, Compliance and Ethics Committee.
He works with Oasis as an advisory accountant and consultant on finance matters – a role which he is very much enjoying and which fits very well with the range of socially-motivated businesses with which he works.
