Sam Anderson

Sam is a Coach, Facilitator, Mentor, Trainer and Supervisor with particular interest in trauma informed, somatic and whole person approaches.

Sam is a highly motivated, experienced and facilitative leader, coach and supervisor with a proven track record of enabling individual development and pioneering, award winning services in challenging environments. Sam has extensive strategic, board, community and business experience.

A qualified Executive Coach, Mentor and Supervisor with a depth of experience and training in Action Learning, Brief Interventions, Compassionate Practice, Whole Person Facilitation, Leadership Embodiment and Development, Motivational Interviewing, Dialogue, Non Violent Communication and Somatic approaches.

Her model is integrative; being led by the needs of the individual or group she is working with, whilst being grounded in her training, extensive experience and deep commitment to relational development work in realising the full potential of people and organisations.

Sam has a flair for delivering innovative approaches and a strong dedication to creating a positive client experience, which is coupled with extensive experience of governance and financial resourcing. She is passionate about the promotion of kindness and equity in society.

Sam is the Founder of The Junction (Young People, Health & Wellbeing), an award-winning charity based in Edinburgh which works with and for young people on a range of health issues.

She is a Specialist Fellow of the Clore Social Leadership Programme, the independent Co-chair of the Social Action Inquiry for Scotland and member of both the Association for Coaching and the Mindfulness Association.
