You may have noticed rising stress or sickness levels among employees, increasing numbers of accidents or a high staff turnover rate.
The atmosphere in the workplace may not be conducive to efficiency and effectiveness, or your staff could be facing redundancies. A breakdown in workplace relations could be interfering with productivity. You may have been managing staff problems in-house but this can take a lot of time and cause conflicts of interest.
You might have specific child protection issues for your staff or volunteers, or you may need to comply with government legislation.
Or you may want to support and empower your employees to deal with their issues before they become problems. It is often too late to effectively help someone once they have gone off sick from work.
You might also need to provide support to employees returning to work after prolonged absence.
We provide a flexible service, offering a choice of quality counsellors and face-to-face counselling outside work hours if necessary.
Our confidential telephone referral system means employees can access counselling in confidence.
The use of independent external counsellors allows employees to access support without worrying about potential conflicts of interest or the effect on career progression.
A body of evidence indicates that counselling works, ranging from findings from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to anecdotal evidence gathered from organisations Oasis works with.
We provide feedback on issues and trends, advising where change may be needed and how we can help.
We can provide bespoke proactive (direct access), responsive (referred) or pay as you go services, with clear fee guidelines based on your requirements and the sector you work in.
Our proactive service encourages and empowers staff to deal with their issues before they become problems.
You know that workforce wellbeing makes sense for productivity and creativity and you understand the importance of human relations skills in your work context. You recognise that your employees, as well as your organisation, benefit from a pro-active, developmental approach.
We will design a bespoke service that will show a demonstrable commitment to your workforce’s wellbeing.
Employees have direct access to our free telephone line to arrange counselling with one of our experienced practitioners, matched to their needs and location.
This service includes bespoke materials to promote the service and inform all employees about the provision and our approach, valuable feedback on issues and trends at twice-yearly update meetings, reports and administration.
Our responsive service allows you to keep control of referrals, with your HR team acting as a gatekeeper to filter and refer those who are most in need. At review meetings you will get feedback on trends and issues that may impact on performance and well-being.
Our pay as you go service is suitable for smaller organisations that want to have counselling provision in place as a safety net. As a small organisation you often know your staff and their problems well, and can suggest counselling if the need arises.
Some bigger organisations decide to use the PAYG service for a trial period to gauge levels of usage and see the benefits, before moving on to a more comprehensive service.
