Tensions and differences are an inevitable and potentially creative part of the life of individuals and organisations.
The way conflict is managed reflects the health of the organisation and the people who work within it.
Conflict represents a central aspect of the dynamics of human relationship.
As such it has been an on-going area of exploration for Oasis, with publications including Assertiveness and The Management of Conflict, the design and delivery of Managing Conflict programmes in multi-disciplinary settings and work with policymakers and customer-facing staff in a variety of service and retail sectors.
Influenced by and building on the pioneering work of Fritz Glasl on organisational diagnosis and intervention, along with our own Seven Stage Model of relationship, we have created a blended approach offering a highly robust framework for conflict resolution and management.
Over the last 25 years we have been involved in designing a spectrum of responses to suit the needs of organisations, from mediation and conflict coaching to conflict resolution programmes for key workers and assertiveness training for staff groups.
We offer programmes to introduce conflict resolution work and develop mediation skills; individual coaching and mentoring to support employees; and on-site diagnostic, design and facilitation processes for organisations.
