Community and Employee Engagement: How it works

Collaboration inquiryOasis researches and develops the Workplace of Tomorrow.

We support entrepreneurship and social change by working with pioneers and CEOs of new initiatives, social businesses and social entrepreneurs in the early and transition stages of their careers.

Our work often occurs between institutional spaces – allowing us to bring together people from diverse contexts with a shared need to make a difference.

For example, we were the initiators of the UK Leadership Inquiry and are a key part of the Collabor8 group, researching and exploring questions of authentic collaboration and leadership in the 21st century.

We have disseminated what we have learnt about collaborative practice through the publication Working Relationships for the 21st Century.

Our consultants and facilitators have designed and developed participative, collaborative and co-creative action in organisations.

They have designed and introduced more engaged ways of working into businesses, working alongside employees and stakeholders to help shape the future and in doing so unlocking untapped potential.

This can be through learning programmes, 1-1 development, Full Circle or action learning approaches, Collaborative Inquiries, or other people and organisational interventions.

We have also facilitated inclusive and emergent processes, using Open Space approaches to stimulate wider thinking and dialogue.

Since 2005 we have been involved as a core partner in initiatives to catalyse the development of the next generation of responsible leadership, whether at a local, national or global level.

We have also supported ‘The Invitation’, an initiative instigated by Bryce Taylor. It is based on spiritual emergence and evolutionary consciousness, giving participants space to explore questions of meaning without interrogation or justification.
