Oasis is committed to nurturing deeper community and employee engagement through co-designing and co-creating social innovation.
Social innovation brings together innovation, collaboration, social relationships, and a community of practice.
We focus energy and resources on fostering and developing new ways of working that promote sustainable and sustaining communities within the public realm and more self initiating, self managing employees within the workplace.
This lives through our work in communities, public and third sector organisations, as well as with individual change agents and social entrepreneurs.
We are linked to an international community of change agents, including innovative organisations such as ACEVO, Neighbourhood Management Boards, the ForeSight Group and the RSA.
We are founding partners of the Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative. As such we aim to inspire, educate and develop future leaders, social innovators and initiators from all sectors to shape and apply new approaches to social change through responsible approaches to leadership and stewardship.
Through our research into collaborative approaches, including the UK Leadership Inquiry and the Collabor8 group, we are helping to shape new ways of working and engaging.
We have disseminated this learning through two publications: Working Relationships for the 21st Century and Learning for Tomorrow.
Oasis contributes to UK and international networks for the social renewal of the public realm through sustainable participation, engagement and new social forms.
We welcome invitations to help develop or facilitate the development of alternative ways of working in those areas where human, social or organisational systems are in transition, have failed or are failing, or who want to ensure they continue to succeed.
