Around the world there is increasing recognition that all those involved in the applied aspect of practice (whatever and wherever that may be) bring more than their 'understanding' to the situation when they:
- consider what they are doing
- implement a course of action
- assess the intended and unintended impact
- weigh the fruitfulness of the enterprise
… they act as whole persons. The call for people to bring more of themselves, whether to life, work or community, is going to be one of the key challenges for our future. Those who are able to apply such approaches for themselves and encourage them within others will be an important resource.
This programme builds on the source publication 'Learning for Tomorrow' and focuses on providing an overview and assessment of the main elements of Whole Person Learning (WPL) and Inquiry Based Approaches and considers what is required for effective application in practice.
