              Focus, experience and interests

Nick focuses on leadership, team processes, mentoring and organisational development.

He works with the creative tensions that emerge from human relations, whilst addressing the demands of organisational life. In facing the  questions arising from both local and global challenges he is interested in how individuals and the systems they operate within can shape responsible practice.

Integrating psychology, values approach, leadership and education Nick creates collaborative ways of working within ambiguous and changing environments.  He shapes peer based and whole person approaches to learning and development in a number of settings.

His work engages him with leaders, mentors, senior teams and change agents, as well as providing opportunities to work with whole organisation questions. Oasis's reach over recent years has moved to working with international projects as well as UK based initiatives.

Nick is currently the Oasis partner in the UNGC/EFMD Global Leadership Initiative, the initiating member of the UK Leadership Inquiry and takes a lead role in developing collaborative inquiries into responsible leadership on an international basis.

He is a member of the Leadership, Life and Learning team at Oasis, a trustee of ODEF (UK), a board member of the Globally Responsible Leadership Foundation (founding members are the UN Global Compact and efmd), a mentor with Oasis Peoplecare and Leaders UK (Collaborative Leadership for Public Sector Excellence) and an 'ambassador' in the UK, with his daughter, for the World's Children's Prize for the Rights of the Child.
