The Oasis School of Human Relations operates on a not-for-profit basis out of the legal form of a company limited by guarantee. The not-for-profit status is more clearly defined through our organisational ethics. The following outlines our statement of ethics.
Governance
The work of the directorate and the life of the organisation are founded on Developmental Learning with particular emphasis on the Peer Principle.
The Directors Group is open to any individual capable of sharing in overall organisational responsibilities, able to hold a full organisational role and aligned to the values and beliefs of Oasis in practice.
All decision-making is based on consensus.
Service
We seek to work with those, both individuals and organisations, whose interests are aligned with ourselves, rather than exclusively, related to financial reward.
The school is committed to supporting the on-going development of those who have participated in the life of the school programmes.
Staff Development
The school is committed to the on-going development, health and well-being of individuals and teams working within the school.
Financial
Any profits are re-invested into the organisation.
Directors have parity of salary.
There is a staff pay ratio of no greater than 4:1 between salaries.
We strive to recognise length of service in any retirement package.
We donate a percentage of profits annually to Oasis Development Education Foundation.
