An introduction to Dynamic Theatre

April 1st 2011 in Events 0

A rare opportunity to find out more about Dynamic Theatre—an ‘action-method’ of spontaneous representation inspired by the ancient Shamanic use of theatre, drama and storytelling—with its creators Mark Wentworth and Filipe De Moura.

Date: Friday, April 15th, 7pm

Place: Oasis School of Human Relations, Hall Mews, Clifford Road, Boston Spa, LS23 6DT

Cost: £10 (half the proceeds will go to the Oasis Foundation, and half will go to the Dynamic Heart Project www.dynamicheartproject.com, which takes Dynamic Theatre to people in parts of the world which would not normally have access to such methods.)

To book or for further information please email Catherine Barnard.

This event takes place the evening before a weekend workshop on ‘Health and Wellbeing in the Community—Healing from the Inside Out’, which takes place in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, on April 16 and 17, at a cost of £120.

The two-day workshop will give the chance to explore, encounter and experience Dynamic Theatre as a journey of discovery to explore how our unconscious drives and patterns can sometimes be seen to hinder our growth. Again, contact Catherine Barnard for details and bookings.
