As a consultant and mentor I hope to see individuals, teams and organisations grow and develop to meet new challenges.

I am intrigued by the seemingly simple ‘levers’ used within a one-to-one relationship to generate change in thought processes and actions in what appear to be impossible situations.

Achieving personal change and personal development within a multi-agency working environment is of particular interest to me.

Experiencing the potency of mentoring within my career inspired my interest in developing other people and it is in this area that I continue to enhance my skills and approach.

Background

I have worked as a qualified social worker within local authority settings for 20 years.

Over the last 12 years I have been leading and managing preventative services for children and families, applying collaborative and partnership approaches in a variety of settings.

I bring experience of facing the challenges and issues of designing and implementing innovative service delivery within family centres, programmes and children’s centres, along with the human and systemic questions such contexts create.

Currently I develop policy and practice within local authority settings.
