Background

Prior to my involvement in Oasis, I worked in Primary Care as a health practitioner in a large General Practice, where I established and developed a Primary Care counselling practice.

From 1999 to 2007 I was a Company Director with Oasis and the Lead Director in Employee Development Schemes for commercial and non-profit sector organisations.

This gave me the responsibility for assisting organisations design the most appropriate intervention for their employees’ physical, mental and emotional needs.

I also worked as a consultant and facilitator of a range of long and short programmes, including the Oasis Developmental Alliance (coaching, mentoring and supervision).

In addition, over the last 15 years I have maintained a one-to-one practice offering individuals developmental mentoring and counselling.

Current

I am now a non-executive Director for Oasis and maintain a keen interest in individuals’ growth and development, as well as the future development of Oasis with the current issues facing society, organisations and individuals.

I am exploring the new space and challenges of the ‘pre-retirement’ phase.

Executive Development

I enjoy the challenge of working with people who are facing changes in their working life – whether this is through a development process facilitated by Oasis, through personal change or due to challenges arising from other sources.

I relish the opportunity to understand more about individuals’ motivation, the way in which organisations operate and the chance to find more in myself to offer others.

I work through a Whole Person Learning approach and use the breadth of my experience and interests to provide a safe developmental space for the other to face themselves and realise their potential.
