My motivation for helping people achieve their potential has developed through an extensive career gained in a variety of Human Resource and people development roles within Unilever.

Having worked in both cross functional and intercultural teams on major transformational projects, I have gained a broad understanding of group dynamics. By focusing on both individual and team development through coaching and collaboration I have contributed to the success of a variety of high performing teams.

My approach to work is based on building strong relationships with people in order to understand the context in which they operate and what motivates them. I believe my role is to support individuals along their journey exploring together their purpose in life and their route to achieving their goals and ambitions.

Following a career break to raise my family and after much reflection I have embarked upon a career in executive development and I am currently undertaking an MSc in Coaching and Mentoring at Sheffield Hallam University. My personal journey towards self-employment has given me first-hand experience of making a significant career transition. I have found the process uplifting, enlightening and at times scary.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and have a love of the countryside and outdoor pursuits such as walking in the Dales. I enjoy running and use the time as an opportunity for self-coaching, being fully aware of what it means to go the extra mile!
