Nick Ellerby works alongside a range of individuals and organisations focusing on leadership, developing freedom and responsibility, team processes, mentoring and organisational development.
His work engages him as a confidant to leaders, chairs, mentors, senior teams and change agents, as well as bringing the capacity to design change processes and hold the complexity involved in achieving whole organisational development.
He is passionate about learning. He hears the need for deep culture change in many organisational settings and sees organisations as a key arena for social innovation and human development. Nick values the quality of effective and robust human relationships in addressing the demands of organisational life.
In facing the new questions arising from both local and global challenges he is interested in how individuals and the systems they operate within can shape responsible practice.
Integrating psychology and learning from social sciences, values approaches, leadership and education, Nick creates collaborative ways of working within unpredictable, ambiguous and changing environments.
He shapes peer-based and whole person approaches to learning and development in a number of settings.
Nick is the Senior Advisor to the UNGC/EFMD Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative and takes a lead role in developing collaborative inquiries into responsible leadership.
He is a member of the Leadership, Life and Learning team at Oasis, a trustee of ODEF (UK), a mentor with Leaders UK (Collaborative Leadership for Public Sector Excellence), a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and an ‘ambassador’ in the UK, with his daughter, for the World’s Children’s Prize for the Rights of the Child.
