For nearly ten years, individual, community and whole organisation development have been at the core of John’s consulting practice.
His work has been focused on facilitating organisational change, future-creation, monitoring evaluation and impact assessment, and one-to-one executive development.
John is experienced in working with group dynamics, and in creating conditions which support learners to achieve their intended learning outcomes.
His particular areas of expertise are:
- Human relations
- Strategic practice
- Inspiration and meaning-making
- Globally responsible leadership.
In valuing the potential of the individual, John seeks to help the person discern what they want to develop in themselves, and to help them carry that into the personal and professional situations they find themselves in.
His career began in the commercial world, qualifying and practising as a solicitor. He subsequently moved to the not-for-profit sector, gaining experience at all levels including staff member, trustee and volunteer.
John has a post-graduate Certificate in Management and Leadership and in 2001 completed a two year Facilitator Styles and the Work of the Change Agent programme with the Oasis School of Human Relations.
