Back to Associates
Chris has 15 years’ experience in health and social care, including five years at Board level within the NHS and Local Government.
Prior to this he worked in the voluntary sector and still holds Board positions in a number of voluntary organisations, including as a Director of two thriving social enterprises and a Trustee of a small international development charity.
This experience has given him an understanding of the challenges of working in complex organisations, managing organisational change and maintaining strong personal and organisational relationships.
As a consultant he provides a range of strategy and project management services to public and third sector organisations.
His particular interest is in supporting strategic change and service transformations. This has recently included introducing personalised services and individual budgets, re-providing traditional service models and establishing micro-enterprises.
Chris has a degree in Social Sciences and International Development and a Master’s in Strategy and Resource Management.
Throughout his career he has maintained a keen interest in issues of social justice, working first in international campaigns, then in low pay and finally in health and social care, including at Board level.
Through his work with Oasis he has supported individuals in their own personal and professional development as well as facilitating programmes to develop wider organisational change.
He has been an Oasis core associate since 2011.
