Barbara has been involved in many wide-ranging co-operative inquiries since 1993, in New Zealand (NZ) and the International Centre for Co-operative Inquiry in Italy during the 1990s, and at the South Pacific Centre for Human Inquiry in NZ since 2000.
Topics include: charismatic expression, co-creating, decision-making, empowerment in everyday life, empowerment in facilitation, holistic practice, knacks into altered states, living and dying, practical wisdom, primary theatre, ritual and interpersonal process, transpersonal activities in everyday life.
She trained as a co-operative inquiry initiator with John Heron, originator of co-operative inquiry methodology, in 1994.
She has a deep passion for participatory methodologies inquiring into human experience and flourishing. She is a founding member of the Holistic Pulsing Guild of NZ, active in the MindBody Trust NZ, and an experienced facilitator.
She was programme leader of the Health Psychology module for a degree in Massage and Neuromuscular Therapies at NZ College of Massage 2006–2010; she is a mediator, a Disputes Tribunal Referee within the NZ Ministry of Justice since 1996, and facilitator of whole person wellbeing.
