Bill Berrett
Back to Influences
Bill first came into contact with Oasis in the late 1980s.
His background is rich and varied being an ‘architect’ and ‘planner’ and a keen enthusiast of interpersonal facilitation; work he pioneered as a way of enabling a more engaged response from the public that officials seek to serve.
He had already helped in supporting other initiatives (notably Leicester Counselling Centre and Interactive Drawing Therapy in New Zealand) and offered his interest and expertise to the continuing evolution of Oasis.
He has helped particularly in shaping Oasis’ growing role in the environment.
Over the years he has proved another steadying figure of solid support and assistance.
Between 2002 and 2010 he worked with Bryce on questions of bridging the gap between the world of personal and organisational development and the planetary situation in a way that is integrative and holistic.
Bill’s willingness to stick with us and keep our sights on the wider horizon has proved invaluable particularly with the work arising out of the UN/EFMD Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative.
